Discover AIR|Aligner
AIRAligner is an intelligent visualization of AOA and Airspeed in a single display to support accurate pilot interpretation of flight conditions, especially with instrument failure.
-
The position of an icon on a linear “alignment vector” visually cross-checks both AOA and airspeed

-
Flight data from existing onboard instruments feed the system

-
Intelligent visualization is projected on cockpit displays
Discover AIR|Aligner
Enabling pilots to align Angle of Attack and Airspeed in one instrument, balancing both by tracking a single indicator along the linear Alignment Vector (AV)
General aviation AOA/Airspeed alignment

Supports alignment of AOA and airspeed for private pilots where misalignment is the leading cause of loss of control
Carrier aviation alignment

Provides continuous approach alignment visualizing graduated adjustment in contrast to red/green traditional indicators
Holistic stall prevention awareness

Provides cross-check on airspeed, GPS, and attitude to help prevent loss of control
How it works
A
A
Calibration aligns values for airspeed and angle of attack (AOA) corresponding to safe flight at given attitudes, based on aircraft performance factors. The result is a linear array of matched values.

C
C
Flight Control is achieved by modulating airspeed and AOA to keep the indicator directly on the Alignment Vector.

B
B
Data captured during flight is fed from existing instruments, updating AOA and airspeed, and translating ongoing inputs to the Alignment Display.
