AIRSpacerUAM is an onboard, autonomous separation management system for Air Taxies or Drones that enables automatic detection, safe separation and sympathetic routing with any similarly-equipped air taxi without air traffic control.*

  • Leverages existing GPS and onboard sensors, monitors potential incursions, and vectors to optimal safety without ATC intervention.

AIRSpacerUAM is an UAM onboard technology that when used by all vehicles, delivers safe UAM separation without formal air traffic control.

AIRSpacerUAM then computes the position of the centroid of the penetrated airspace and generates a vector (direction and speed) toward it, away from the penetrating aircraft, and also safely distant from any other vehicles on the virtual periphery.

When an air taxi spherical perimeter becomes “deformed” by another vehicle approaching too closely, AIRSpacerUAM dynamically recomputes the dimensions of the deformed sphere incorporating the presence of the penetrating air taxi.
